CHAIR OF MODERN GREEK LANGUAGE ESTABLISHED IN BELGRADE UNIVERSITY

Chair of Modern Greek Language and Literature has been established in Belgrade University School of Literature and 50 students are attending the classes offered.

The establishment of the Chair of the Greek Language was assigned to mr. Miodrag Stojanovic scientific adviser of the Balkan Institute, familiar with issues concerning Greece and the Balkans, who lately is studying the greek-serb and serb-greek literary relations.

The Serb Academy Balkan Institute has good scientific relations with Thessaloniki's Institute for Balkan Studies and the establishment of the Chair of Modern greek language in Belgrade University is the result of their cooperation.

Chair of Serb Language is expected to be established in the future in Athens University.
